Approximate year of Jesus’ death and resurrection
After the death of Jesus, a new movement, a messianic sect of Judaism called Christianity, arose. This was called the "Apostolic age,” prominent leaders including Paul, Peter, James, and John.
Jerusalem church lived in peace, participating in the Temple ritual, keeping Torah as they waited for the second coming; to gentiles, it was the beginning of the creation of a new community away from old social status and religious claims
Inclusion of Gentiles into the faith by missionary work, predominantly into the Mediterranean world (Antioch, Ephesus, Corinth, Galatia, Rome) but also into India and Africa.
