The Precambrian TIme took place 4.6 billion years ago when Earth was formed from a mass of dust and gas. Gravity pulled the these masses together and over time the Earth’s interior became extremely hot and molten.Some hundred of millions of years have past and lava flowed over Earth’s surface, building continents. Then an atmosphere formed and then the world became one big ocean. Also, scientists couldn’t find the exact date when life began on Earth. but fossils of single cell organisms that were found were estimated to have existed 3.5 billion years ago.
