This timeline is to show the advancements and discoveries that have been made in medicine from the ancient times to the 17th century. In the beginning sickness was thought to be an unbalance of the elements or asscotiated with magic. People also worshiped gods who were thought to bring healing. Finally, though, reason began to triumph and serious studies brought about the result of discovered truths.
