The changing role of women in Europe from the Colonial Period to WWII
From the Colonial Period to World War Two in Europe (and across the World) women were fiercly denied rights -- the right to vote, the right of free speech, the right to work outside the home, the right to speak publicly, etc. Women across Europe were growing tiresome of being treated poorly, and over the period chose to revolt to change how they were viewed and treated. They did this in many ways that include but are not limited to suicide, violent rebellion, being imprisoned, starvation as well as less extreme terms as boycotting.
