This is timeline for the history of the Flathead Reservation to modern times. Please note that though I refer to it as the Flathead Reservation,the reservation was not created until 1855 when the Treaty of Hellgate was signed. Anything before this time was Indians who lived on the land or Indians that were going to be apart of the reservation in the future. Enjoy!
