During the early to Middle Ages, oceanic travels were becoming a necessity rather than a just do. Everyone not only wanting to explore the Atlantic and Pacific oceans but, also wanted to expand their trades and territory for their kingdoms. During the same timeframe naval ship development bloomed from simple ships carrying some 20 sailors to carrying 100's. Adding on to ships rams, cannons and incendiary weapons. Not only did present day naval experts learn of the development of naval ships from early explorers but also the maps of the world and the early weapons used in warfare.
