Great Britain and France where the main imperialist powers in Africa during the late 1800's. They almost took over all of Africa, Some countries took them for a good cause and some took them for a negative cause. One of the main reasons was the strategic spots of most of the countries in Africa. Some other imperialist powers are; Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Spain.
