I am Ogulshirin Dosyeva from Zaman University. In this timeline I wanted to present the development of keyboard starting from 1714. At first, there was not a keuboard. Typewriter was invented first. After that year by year, typewriters were improved with some different features. In 1946, when the first computer was invented, as an input devise teletype was used. In 1970s, the first keyboards were sold. With improvement in technology, keyboards were enhanced, also. Nowadays, there are many kinds of keyboards with different features and appearances such as the Das Ultimate Keyboards, the Logitech diNovo, the True-Touch roll-up Keyboards, Optimus Maximus Keyboards, Maltron Keyboards, and Virtual Keyboards.

Keyboards are important inpu devices for several reasons. One of them is it reduces the cut of trees for papers. If there was not keyboard, people would not be able to type in computer and have soft data. Another advantage is it peovides typing while you are chatting. I think it is essential especially for people living away from their families.
