The Zionist Movement started in the year of 1890, being led by Theordore Herzl. The purpose of the movement was to secure land in Israel for relocated Jews. As it continued to gain popularity, other organizations were created to raise money for the movement. Jewish settlements in Palestine starting to expand and towns and cities in Palestine were becoming predominantly Jewish.
